Well, let's see. My original post citing the 200,000 figure is dated Nov. 14. The wire clips Mr. Peterson posts all indicate that this controversy hit the headlines subsequent to that. So his "this late a stage" is a pretty transparent charge. I have not exhaustively looked into the revised body count, so I can claim no informed opinion. I will say that 1.) it'll all come out in the wash, 2.) 100,000 is hardly an exoneration, and 3.) we've had this out before.
